Regardless of the season, Jackson, Tennessee beckons to families.

David’s family answered the call in 1962 and they have been here ever since. He left Jackson for a time but returned to his family and his roots in 1989.

A Funny thing happened on the Way to the  Classroom

Growing up, David wanted to be a teacher, so when he entered Lambuth College (now University) in Jackson, that was the major he  pursued. Graduating Cum Laude with a B. S. in History Education. He turned this degree into a teaching position but later returned to school and became a real estate paralegal.

A Family of His Own

David began his own family in 1997 when he married the former Tracy Garrett. During their time off, they traveled and spent time at the beach.  Really enjoying their time together and getting to know one another took up most of their first five years of marriage.  Having good math skills, they knew that one plus one equals three. They now have one daughter, Virginia Clare “Gini”, born in July, 2002.

Time together now means Friday night pizza and a movie. Vacations at  the beach are very different when seen through a child’s eyes. Each day is a  new adventure in learning and not just for Gini.

 Ancestors

When not spending time with his present day family, David enjoys the finding out about all the people that make up his past. Genealogy  is a real challenge and one that he has  taken up as a lifetime effort.

 Back in to the Fold

In 1989, after returning to Jackson, Tennessee and joining the family business, he renewed his love for his home town.  It’s a love that he enjoys sharing with anyone interested in looking at Jackson as their new home.

 Passion for His Career

David’s passion for real estate  has made him a success in the field. It  led him to become co/owner and training director for Coldwell Banker, Real Estate Now. The company was later sold to Coldwell Banker Barnes and he was able to return to selling.

He strives to bring the best service and results in a short time frame. He gets to know his clients and listens to their  needs because he knows that there are few places more important to his clients than  their home. Whether buying or selling it is their most important investment. It’s the nest that they are building for their family’s comfort and base of  operations.
